On August 8, the 2018 annual meeting of the Spinning Machinery Branch of China Textile Machinery Association was held in Jinzhong, Shanxi.More than 120 representatives from the national spinning machinery and equipment enterprises attended the meeting.
Gu Ping, vice president of China Textile Machinery Association, analyzed the operation of the textile machinery industry in the first half of 2018 and highlighted the development of the spinning machinery market and technology.According to him. from January to June 2018,the textile machinery industry continued its growth trend since the second half of last year, and the main economic indicators maintained growth and achieved smooth operation. From January to June, the textile machinery industry achieved a main business income of 55.626 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.02%; the total profit reached 3.181 billion yuan, an increase of 19.56%.
Gu Ping introduced that in 2017, the short-flow new spinning equipment was more favored by users. and the development of ring spinning machinery was relatively stable.Statistics show that the market continues to strengthen the demand for automated and continuous equipment.Whether it is new projects or renovation projects, equipment for saving labor is the first choice for spinning enterprises. According to the statistics of key textile enterprises by China Textile Machinery Association, in the first half of 2018. 2200 sets of carding machines were sold in the main products of spinning machinery, down 4.4% year-on-year; about 1,500 sets of drawframes were sold, down 16.7% year-on-year; combing Machine sales of about 380 units, a decrease of 44.1%; roving machine sales of about 750 units, an increase of 7.1%; cotton spinning machine sales of about 2.3 million spindles, a year-on-year increase of 6.5% of the collection of spinning equipment sales of about 2.62 million spindles.an increase of 21.3% The sales of rotor spinning machines was about 270,000, an increase of 17.4% year-on-year; the sales of automatic winders were about 300,which was the same as that of the same period last year.
In general, cotton spinning complete sets of equipment continue to develop in the direction of high production, high speed, automation, continuous and information. At the same time, spinning equipment and component equipment companies have also intensified their innovation in combination with their own conditions and market demand. In accordance with the statistics on the patents of more than 60 enterprises mainly producing spinning equipment and special equipment. in 2017, a total of 245 patents were granted, including 97 invention patents, 140 utility model patents and 8 appearance patents. Although the total number of patents has decreased compared with 2016, the number of invention patents has increased significantly.
Opening up the international market has become an important development direction for China's textile machinery enterprises. Liu Bin, General Manager of the Operation and Management Department of China Textile Foreign Economic Cooperation Co., Ltd. analyzed the current status of the international market for spinning machinery.
At present, the annual demand for cotton spinning equipment in India is about 2 million spindles, of which about 1 million spindles are added. India's industrial system is relatively complete, and the locally manufactured spinning equipment has a very strong market adaptability and competitiveness. Liu Bin believes that China's textile machinery enterprises have great opportunities in the Indian market, and the challenges are also great. The success depends mainly on the product quality, market strategy and service level of the company.
Vietnam has become the largest source of Chinese cotton yarn imports. As of 2017, Vietnam has a total of 8 million spindles. In the last 3 to 5 years, Vietnam has increased its spindles by 15% to 20% annually. The goal is to increase the number of spindles to 10 million spindles by 2020. In the past 10 years, Chinese companies have exported 3 million spindles of spinning equipment to the Vietnamese market. At present, China's equipment accounts for about 70% of the Vietnamese market.
In recent years, the market share of Indian LMW equipment in the Bangladesh market has grown by leaps and bounds. Liu Bin believes that this is mainly because Bangladesh is bordered by India, and many Indian textile technicians are gradually infiltrating into Bangladeshi textile mills. In response to this problem, the expansion of local service teams and professional training have become the top priority for Chinese textile machinery enterprises. It is necessary to make great efforts to implement it.
Liu Bin believes that textile machinery enterprises need to carry out product research and development according to the needs of users in various market segments, consider how to use technology advantages to guide customers, how to use financing to support against risks, reduce costs, and accurately target potential customers with precise marketing, how to improve service levels. .
Close communication between upstream and downstream companies has become an important aspect of promoting the advancement of textile machinery. Zhang Jianxiang, deputy general manager of Lutai Textile Co., Ltd. introduced Lu Tai's experience in the selection of spinning equipment and shared his thoughts and understanding on the layout of textile machinery and internationalization. According to reports, the selection of Lutai spinning equipment begins with the company's product positioning, product structure and quality requirements. Lutai products are positioned in the international high-end market. At present, the imported equipment from Germany, Switzerland, Japan and other countries are mainly used, and some domestic spinning equipments are used.
The new era has provided new opportunities for China's textile machinery industry, but at the same time it must face up to its own gap. Zhang Jianxiang suggested that textile machinery enterprises, first, must have confidence, full of enthusiasm, but also have a calm and mature attitude, seek truth from facts, and focus on innovation in technology. Second, upgrading from manufacturing to manufacturing services. Textile machinery enterprises should extend downstream, set up expert teams for different needs of customers, provide professional customized services, and provide customers with overall solutions and personalized design. Third, see the market and do mainstream development. Fourth, look at the direction and seize the opportunity to go out. Fifth, the development of design centers in the international metropolis is a trend. Sixth, the establishment of an assembly plant with core technology. According to Lu Tai’s experience of going out, Zhang Jianxiang believes that it is an inevitable trend for big companies to go out. Going out can not only reduce production costs, but also reduce barriers to trade barriers. More importantly, it is necessary to achieve international development of enterprises and obtain a larger market.
The representatives of the participating companies also discussed and exchanged on the market development and future development direction of spinning machinery and how to regulate the competition in the industry.
